Works great and lasts long time!
Simple to use but be careful not to press too hard. I started to get some coffee grounds to leak through. Experiment with the stir times. I use one and a half level spoonfuls of coffee with boiling water and stir for about 40 seconds. I would definitely recommend this item to friends.
Good, strong coffee, quick!
I love this press. I bought one for my mom because she always tries to use her drip coffeemaker to make coffee one cup at a time, and she likes STRONG coffee. After seeing how much she loved it, I got one!
Some suggestions for use:
1. Don't put in too much water. There's markings on the side to tell you how much to put in per scoop of coffee. Too much water will extract bitterness from the coffee.
2. This is NOT a french press. You don't need to let the coffee steep, just pour, stir, and press!
3. Add water AFTER you press to fill up your cup and make a regular cup of coffee.
The only downside to this press is waiting for the water to boil. I'm going to get an electric kettle and put it on a timer so there's hot water waiting for me in the morning!
Overall, this thing makes tasty coffee. It's quick to use and easy to clean. Just don't use too much water or the coffee will be bitter!
